Cover K9 Training (CK9T) was founded by owner and lead Instructor Justin Nielsen in 2018 and has since grown into one of the most recognized names in Northern NJ when it comes to professional dog training. At CK9T, our staff believes in taking a balanced approach at training with your canine companion, while placing a specific emphasis on Instructing the owners simultaneously as a means of increasing their overall knowledge and abilities when it comes to handling. Our objective is to provide you with an intimidation free environment, where regardless of your skill level or experience you can feel free to learn, grow and ask questions while having fun! All dogs are welcome at CK9T, any breed, any size, any age!

Know: Know the information, and become a master of the basics. Understand that the information is not knowledge and that knowledge is derived from experience. We do not have an answer for every problem, but our ability to solve any issue comes from our team approach at training. We work together.

Do: Do what needs to be done, while being honest and passionate about the work we do. Encourage your students to embody these same principles while in training and at home. Great training is a result of strong habits. We don’t cut corners when it comes to training, we do the work!
